NORPA / Kultour partnership
NORPA is hosting, in partnership with Kultour a cross art form Lab focusing on cross-art form and cross cultural exchange. The 3 week residency is for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) artists – and the workshop is titled Range /Terrain.
NORPA and Kultour have partnered on this initiative and share an interest in the development of new work, exploring the cross-artform space, and in audience development for multicultural performing arts. Range/Terrain is a new initiative that will create a platform addressing this area of sector development, drawing on the strengths and mutual goals of both organisations.
Artists attending include:
Tony Yap (Victoria)
Khaled Sabsad (NSW)
Karla Dickens (Lismore, NSW)
Pascal Berry (Sydney NSW) – facilitator/dramaturg
As part of the residency the artists will be engaging with communities through some kind of public performance.
This residency is supported by the Inter-Arts office of the Australia Council.
